It is clear from the budget debate at City Hall that many of the things we value and that make Toronto a great city are under threat.
A caring, sustainable, artistic, smart, and livable city starts with us. Please stand up and be counted.

What’s at stake?
City Council has embarked on a divisive budget slashing exercise that has the potential to transform the city we love into something we cannot recognize. These cuts could have broadly negative consequences for:
- Our green future as more commuters are forced into their cars by transit cuts that will make our city less livable.
- Care for the most vulnerable among us
- Access to learning and knowledge as Toronto Public Library branches are closed, hours of operation reduced and programs eliminated
- Toronto’s heritage as city operated museums are closed
- Arts and culture in the city along with the economic value they bring
What can you do?
There is no power greater to a politician than a local voter.
By working together we can multiply your power to bring the vision we want and need to City Hall. But it starts with you. Please begin with a message to your City Councillor about one or more of the issues featured on this site.
